Are you ready for the new adventures of Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Maul, and other popular characters from the Clone Wars series?
Well, the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is near. According to Disney Plus, The Clone Wars final season seven will continue the storylines from the original series and will develop and explore the events that will lead to Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
The seventh season was never supposed to happen; it was canceled. But thanks to a lot of fan interest for the series and the request of Dave Filoni, the series will still get a well-deserved finale.
Judging by the final trailer for the series, there will be plenty of action scenes and exciting developments.
What’s in the trailer?
In the opening scenes of the final trailer, we see the Jedi’s War Room. There is one interesting point here. In the War Room, we see Jedi Master Depa Bilaba, who was at Jedi Council in the Phantom Menace. Right next to her, we see a young boy who we assume is her padawan apprentice Caleb Dume, who will later be known as the Jedi Kanan Jarrus in the Star Wars: Rebels series. Which means we may also see Kanan’s past. What we do know is that his Master was killed in the Order 66 event, sacrificing himself for Kanan to survive.
One of the events that will be shown is the siege of Mandalore. This might be where Moff Gideon may appear, known as the great villain from The Mandalorian series, who, in some later campaign, will be involved in the destruction of Mandalore.
Throughout the series, Ahsoka’s adventures will also take a large part. It seems that she will be involved in some way in the battle over Mandalore. At the end of the trailer, we see her duel with Darth Maul. And since they both appear in the Rebels, we know that duel will end up unresolved.
According to the trailer, the storyline will also cover events from Revenge of the Sith, just from another perspective.
So hopefully, these will be 12 really good episodes and the finale that Clone Wars deserves.
