Something ‘strange’ is near… Again!
Netflix has released the first teaser for Stranger Things 4, the fourth season of its upcoming hit SciFi series, and sends a surprise from Russia.
Specifically, the teaser shows scenes from Russia in which we see the surprising reappearance of a favorite fan character, Chief Hopper. It doesn’t reveal too many details about the upcoming season, but it looks like the series will expand the world beyond Hawkins, Indiana.
The teaser sees a group of workers building a railway somewhere in Russia. But a big surprise comes at the end of the video. As many fans have already guessed based on the post-credits scenes in the final episode of season three, Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is back, though he seemed to have disappeared in a major explosion.
At the end of the third season, after an exciting and scary event in the small town of Hawkins, the famous crew split.
Joice, her sons Jonathan and Vill, and Eleven left the city, leaving behind a traumatic experience in search of a more peaceful life. They thought they had lost Hopper forever.
However, Hopper seems to have walked through the door between dimensions and somehow ended up in Russia. Hopper’s survival is thought to be linked to the latest supernatural interference since it has been previously shown that the Russians have captured Demogorgon, a monster from Upside Down.
There is no release date for the fourth season of Stranger Things yet, but given that Netflix has already launched a marketing campaign, it’s likely that it will be sometime in 2020.
