The Invisible Man (2020) is an Australian-American Sci-Fi horror film written and directed by Leigh Whannell. The movie is loosely based on the novel of the same name by H. G. Wells.

Trapped in a troubled and violent relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, a young woman named Cecilia Kass (Elisabeth Moss) flees under cover of night. Her sister (Harriet Dyer) and their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge) help her hide.

However, sudden and unforeseen events occur, and her ex-boyfriend (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) commits suicide. Cecilia finds out that he left her a great fortune, but she begins to suspect that it is all part of a great hoax. Soon, several seemingly accidental and deadly accidents begin to happen in which people close to her die. She begins to lose her mind as she tries to prove that she is being persecuted by someone who cannot be seen. She realizes that she has to deal with this deadly danger on her own and her fight with an invisible opponent begins…
