This SciFi series is part of the Star Trek franchise, which takes place before The Original Series. Star Trek: Discovery began broadcasting on September 24, 2017, and had 15 episodes released in two parts. The publishing house is CBS but in cooperation with Netflix.
The series has three seasons, and a fourth has been announced.
The creators of the Star Trek: Discovery series are Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman, and the stars of the first season are Jason Isaacs as Captain Lorca, Sonequa Martin-Green as Michael Burnham, James Frain as Sarek, Spock’s father, and Michelle Yeoh as Captain Georgiou. Doug Jones and Anthony Rapp play scientific officers, and Mary Wiseman plays the Starfleet Academy cadet.
The storyline of the first season: Ten years before Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise, the USS Discovery set out to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new lifeforms and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.
